The Power of Love!

Daniele and Juan Carlos' wedding began at Chapel Hill on Prince Street. The venue was perfect for this couple and the location, 8 Prince Street, aptly named; both were regally dressed and they really did remind me of a princess marrying her prince!

The day was beautiful, and when the stretch limo was parked outside- it was easy to capture candid moments of joy expressed by the bride, wedding party and guests.

TThis tender moment was captured right after the ceremony.

This is NOT an illusion, Daniele is actually floating on air as she enters the reception at the Hyatt! I'd love to say the photographer manipulated the photo--but he didn't; Daniele and Juan Carlos just carried themselves like this throughout the day; Regal all the way!

The reception venue was spectacular- having just gone through an extensive remodel. Watching the venue's lighting change from daylight to dusk was just magical and really set the tone of the reception.
We snuck outside the Hyatt, for just a few moments during the cocktail hour. This is busy downtown and the couple look like they have just stopped the world from spinning, magically! That's the POWER of LOVE!

Is Sonneburg a nice outdoor wedding location?

The weather was great for Stacy and Gary's outdoor ceremony! The gardens and mansion grounds have ample opportunities for wedding photography. We chose to mix formal settings with creative candids and a few special effects, but the colors clearly stand out on this day!

Did the rain spoil their wedding photography?

You're planning your outdoor wedding ceremony and hoping for a warm sunny day. What to do if it rains?

It's no problem if your wedding is at Webster Golf Club - they quickly turned Christopher and Kristin's event into an intimate candlelight ceremony!

When it came time for bridal party portraits - we got a break and headed to the lush gardens outside. The clouds and wet landscape were excellent conditions for photos. They were nervous, but I knew the portraits would look great in the soft lighting.

Rochester, NY Wedding Photographer heads to Conn.

Mark catches his first glimpse of Stephanie as she comes down the aisle on the arms of her father.

Who gives this bride...?

The enchanted evening began with the couple's first dance.

Below, the newly weds wait to be introduced.

Jay enjoyed a break as a Rochester, NY wedding photographer and taking photos of the wedding simply for pleasure---as he always does- even when he is not working, but being a guest from out of town and celebrating with family was extra special! Congratulations, Stephanie and Mark!

Rochester, NY wedding photographer witnesses couple tying the knot.

Knots have long been the symbol of lasting bonds in many cultures. It was all together fitting that Stephanie and Dave chose a nautical theme for their wedding as the couple share a love of sailing. The reception was held at the Rochester Yacht Club.

Dave is ready to "cut and run" from the church to the reception!
